Our Mission

Born in Atlanta, Michelle Murphy settled in Smyrna in 1999, to begin a family with her husband, Sean. In 2006, Michelle left her position as Assistant Director of a large retirement community to raise her

children. In 2017, Michelle took a position as the bookkeeper for Smyrna Elementary, which both of her children attended, and she continues to work there. Over the years she has volunteered with a variety of groups in Smyrna, to include Keep Smyrna Beautiful, the Smyrna Vision Initiative, and was a co-

founder of the Wave of Excellence, a grass roots local school support group. She also served as co-president of the PTA at Smyrna Elementary School, served on the School Council for Campbell Middle School, and co-lead a Girl Scout Troop for more than five years. Michelle believes in supporting her

community through volunteerism and diligent advocacy to ensure it becomes a better place to live, work, play and raise a family. She is excited about being part of a non-profit organization that helps support neighbors in need and looks forward to guiding Support Smyrna in making a difference in the lives of Smyrna’s citizens.

Stacey Scott has called Smyrna, Georgia home since 2007, embracing the Jonquil City's community spirit. As a mother of two young boys, Charlie and Henry, she's found her passion in actively participating in local life.

Professionally, Stacey wears two hats. She works as a Marketing Representative in the insurance industry and serves as Editor of Smyrna Vinings Lifestyle magazine, allowing her to connect with the community in diverse ways.

Stacey's commitment to her sons extends beyond home life - she's deeply involved in their schools, often supporting extracurricular activities. Her enthusiasm for community service shines through her participation in various local charities and organizations.

When not engaged in work or volunteer activities, Stacey enjoys entertaining, traveling, diving into a good book, and spending quality time with family and friends. Through her various roles, she continually strives to contribute positively to the Smyrna community she's proud to call home.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

A native of Northern Virginia, Tarun Ganeriwal has lived in Smyrna for over 20 years. Tarun owns/operates various businesses, including a general construction company doing work for utilities; a engineering/staffing company and a chess enrichment company.  Prior to starting his own companies, he spent 20 years with General Electric. He had been active in starting Foundations for local public schools and serving on various boards. Tarun enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with his wife and children.

Stephanie Eaddy has been a resident of Smyrna since relocating from Texas in 2007. She and her husband have 2 children active in various Smyrna arts and sports programs. She is the owner and operator of a Smyrna-based small business called Mosquito Hunters. Prior to starting her own business she worked as a Global Marketing Executive at The Coca-Cola Company. She uses her corporate expertise and local community advocacy to bring exceptional service to her customers. Stephanie can be found volunteering around Smyrna in various capacities including Girl Scout Troop Leader, Parent Association President, the Smyrna Arts Council member and a team mom at youth sports. She is thrilled to be part of Support Smyrna.   

Suz Kaprich, a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices

Georgia Properties, joined the Petersen Partners team in October 2020,

where she specializes in residential real estate sales. While her area of

expertise is primarily Cobb and Fulton counties, she readily serves

clients in the surrounding Metro Atlanta area.

Prior to real estate, Suz worked as a nurse executive at WellStar and

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she was responsible for

nursing services, operations, and physician practice operations. As a

result of this experience, she has a seasoned perspective on how to

support buyers and sellers, and negotiations with the perspective of a

nurse.

She is a proud alum of University of Phoenix where she received a

Masters Degree in Healthcare administration. She lives in Smyrna with

her husband Michael and her fur baby, Romeo. She loves to visit

friends and family and spends a lot of time reading, golfing, and

furniture renovation. Ask her about how to bake biscotti; it’s her secret

talent.

 Eric Homansky has been a proud resident of Smyrna since 2003 where he lives with his wife Kristy, two sons, Benjamin and Andrew, and their dog, Frankie. He has been teaching in the Cobb County public schools for 22 years and is currently the Physical Education teacher at Teasley elementary school. In addition to teaching, he owns two Smyrna-based small businesses, Way2Play Sports and FNA Flag Football.

Eric volunteers his time as a coach with Smyrna Little League, NASA TopHat soccer, and the Kyle Pease Foundation. When not running around fields, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, being outdoors, cheering for the New York Mets, and assisting the efforts of the Support Smyrna board.  

Michelle Osborne, a Louisiana native, has been a Smyrna resident since 2009 with her husband Ben, daughter Alicia and their Mini Aussie, Luna.

Michelle worked in the insurance industry for 10 years, stayed at home with her daughter for 8 years and currently works in operations/aide at her daughter’s school. During all of these years, she has always sought out ways to help those around her.

Michelle previously served on the Smyrna Elementary School Foundation Board of Directors and is proud to serve the city that she loves.

Michelle is an avid tennis player, reader and traveler.
